Billy Magoulias, very much a Henson Park crowd favourite of recent years, has announced his retirement from rugby league. He became the toast of the Inner West in the 2019 Canterbury Cup (the NSW Cup) finals, setting up the winning try in the grand final against Wentworthville at Bankwest Stadium, Parramatta (now CommBank Stadium) in extra time.

Forget the Dally Ms, when it comes to rugby league award shows, nothing tops the Newtown Jets Presentation Night. 

Although the season wrapped up sooner than expected, there was still plenty to celebrate, and not just for the players!

The Newtown Jets 2025 Presentation Night was a huge success, with a big crowd in attendance, excellent cuisine, good speakers and a great buzz in the audience looking forward to the 2026 NSW Cup season and recalling the best moments of what had taken place in 2025.
